About Top 3 Songs

  1. The selection opens with "Waiting Life by Between Cities.

"Waiting Life" is a powerful rock ballad by Dutch duo Nick Jongejan and Geis de Waal that captures the feeling of being stuck while embracing the present moment. The lyrics paint a picture of doubt and fear, symbolized by fading flowers and lost dreams, but also reveal a growing sense of hope and determination. The masterful execution of the song and its seamless transitions will give you goosebumps.

  2. The second release we want to highlight is"Comfort in the Pain" by Charlie Kogen.

This song is a beautiful blend of acoustic pop and soul, infused with a touch of nostalgia and romance in the spirit of Stevie Wonder, Carole King, and Todd Rundgren. The artist's lyrical inspiration came from a quote he heard in a psychology lecture: "We seek love in the places where pain is familiar to us." Charlie shared that he wrote the chorus lyrics and recorded the 20-track vocal harmonies on the bridge immediately after hearing the quote.

  3. The last entry in our Top 3 is "Falling Head First" by Sam Lily. This song perfectly captures the essence of love's unpredictable nature. The indie-folk sound shines through, blending soft, introspective moments with powerful, yet tender vocals. This track masterfully blends vulnerability with an addictive energy and waves of mellow serenity. Fans of artists like City and Colour and Damien Rice will resonate with the track's honesty and emotional depth.
